The event highlighted the<strong> diversity of approaches <\/strong>aimed at reducing waste, optimising resource use and promoting more responsible healthcare practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The initiatives presented included:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Redeem Medical<\/strong>: the reuse and refurbishment of medical devices to give them a second life.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Holiste<\/strong>: solutions focused on cellular oxygenation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Recygo<\/strong>: collection, sorting and recycling solutions, particularly for textiles used in the healthcare sector.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Vanguard<\/strong>: the reprocessing and refurbishment of medical devices to extend their service life.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>OptimPharma<\/strong>: solutions to optimise medication management and reduce waste in healthcare facilities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Tesalys<\/strong>: on-site treatment solutions for infectious healthcare waste, enabling healthcare facilities to manage their waste closer to where it is generated.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>These different approaches illustrate the <strong>complementary initiatives helping to make the healthcare sector more sustainable.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tesalys, committed to the ecological transition of healthcare facilities<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Through its on-site treatment solutions for infectious healthcare waste, <strong>Tesalys<\/strong> <strong>supports healthcare facilities in improving the way they manage infectious waste.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On-site treatment can help reduce the need to transport waste to external treatment facilities and rethink how waste is managed within healthcare facilities themselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This approach is part of a broader effort to<strong> combine healthcare safety requirements, operational constraints and environmental considerations.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Recognition at the end of the webinar<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>At the end of the presentations, a vote was held to recognise the initiatives presented. <strong>Tesalys came in second place<\/strong>, behind Redeem Medical, which took first place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We would like to thank CAHPP for organising this webinar and for giving us the
