At the InnovaRSE webinar organised by CAHPP, Tesalys had the pleasure of presenting its on-site treatment solutions for infectious healthcare waste, alongside other companies committed to the ecological transition of the healthcare sector.
A range of initiatives for more sustainable healthcare
The InnovaRSE webinar brought together several companies offering solutions to address the environmental challenges facing the healthcare sector. The event highlighted the diversity of approaches aimed at reducing waste, optimising resource use and promoting more responsible healthcare practices.
The initiatives presented included:
- Redeem Medical: the reuse and refurbishment of medical devices to give them a second life.
- Holiste: solutions focused on cellular oxygenation.
- Recygo: collection, sorting and recycling solutions, particularly for textiles used in the healthcare sector.
- Vanguard: the reprocessing and refurbishment of medical devices to extend their service life.
- OptimPharma: solutions to optimise medication management and reduce waste in healthcare facilities.
- Tesalys: on-site treatment solutions for infectious healthcare waste, enabling healthcare facilities to manage their waste closer to where it is generated.
These different approaches illustrate the complementary initiatives helping to make the healthcare sector more sustainable.
Tesalys, committed to the ecological transition of healthcare facilities
Through its on-site treatment solutions for infectious healthcare waste, Tesalys supports healthcare facilities in improving the way they manage infectious waste.
On-site treatment can help reduce the need to transport waste to external treatment facilities and rethink how waste is managed within healthcare facilities themselves.
This approach is part of a broader effort to combine healthcare safety requirements, operational constraints and environmental considerations.
Recognition at the end of the webinar
At the end of the presentations, a vote was held to recognise the initiatives presented. Tesalys came in second place, behind Redeem Medical, which took first place.
We would like to thank CAHPP for organising this webinar and for giving us the opportunity to share our commitment to more sustainable healthcare, alongside companies that are each contributing to the transformation of the sector in their own way.
